Last time I did this workout was on 6/13 and got a time of 17:29! PR, for sure 😃
Hello! :) Happy to see another Crossfit woman on here also! I just started the recovery process and am already frustrated from not being able to lift weights. I am also focusing on stretching, mobility and light body weight work. It sucks I thought it was just my hips that were tweeked but it’s also my shoulders so have to take care of the whole self lol. I’m learning though!
A couple of weeks ago I tweeked my hip during a deadlift. I knew exactly what I did so I took a couple days off. But then went back starting what I thought was slow and modified. I was wrong. Since then I’ve been very sore and have trouble with my workouts. Last week though it’s been hurting to sit for long periods of time. And I’ve been limping. And then my shoulders were hurting, especially my left one. I went to a chiropractor and he suggested I just take a whole week off and week by week just work myself back slowly. I’m going listen. I have trouble doing that, I am in that mentality that more work is better. My body needs a break though. So I’ll work on a lot of skill work and mobility and stretching for a few weeks and keep off heavy weights. So today was my first day of my Deload week. I was sad yesterday but my fiancé, coach and chiropractor talked to me and I understand how much I’ve needed this.
